CDA Redi Mix & Precast, Inc. is locally owned and operated out of our batch plant at Stateline. We are a division of Coeur d’Alene Paving, a regional leader in paving since 2001. Founders Todd Kaufman and Craig Cozad dreamed of owning a concrete plant for over a decade after identifying a need for high-performance Redi Mix in the local community. CDA Redi Mix began its inaugural year in 2016. In 2017, we acquired the license to manufacture and distribute Verti-Block in our region, and our journey into precast began. Our unparalleled growth in North Idaho and Eastern Washington is rooted in a commitment to rock-solid service.
Our approach is simple; to provide every customer the best Redi Mix concrete when they need it. We build close customer relationships that set us apart from competitors by listening to the needs, understanding challenges, and providing valuable solutions. Our concrete team can help analyze your project and offer an innovative mix design to fit your project to ensure maximum performance. Our mission is to provide you with the material to create a beautiful project and make the process enjoyable from start to finish while exceeding your expectations.
Todd Kaufman dreamed of owning a concrete plant for many years after forming Coeur d’Alene Paving in 2001. His greatest assets are his dedication to his dreams, tenacious attitude, and keen business acumen. Todd surrounds himself with good people whose industry experience has contributed to his company’s exponential growth. Todd loves the great outdoors. He has a hobby for every season and enjoys spending time with his family.
Craig Cozad formed CDA Redi Mix & Precast, Inc. with Todd out of their vision for expanding Coeur d’Alene Paving. Craig is equipped with the ability to think creatively, and it is this gift that continuously generates new ideas for our growing company. For Craig, everything is centered around the community and the people who live here. He believes in using his locally owned and operated business as a platform to give back and strengthen the area by donating concrete to build foundations, paving pathways for easier wheelchair access, seeking out Veterans to hire, and frequenting other local businesses. On the weekends, Craig loves spending quality time with his family, boating, camping, hunting, side-by-siding, and snowmobiling.
